- You will need a larger deposit.
- Most likely there will be additional stamp duty to pay.
- There is the option to have an interest only mortgage.
- The property must have a valid energy performance certificate. (EPC)
- The property must meet all safety regulations in relation to smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
- Annual checks must me carried out and all certificates must be up to date.
- You may want to use the services of a letting agent who can manage the property for you for a fee.
